I absolutely love pink flowers.  At the most superficial level they tend to be very beautiful in the aesthetic sense.  beyond that though, they have a variety over meanings.  They are used in an assortment of different situations.  They convey certain meaning and have a lot of symbolism.

There are several different situations where they might be used (even though I would use them any time I feel like it).

There exist many different types of pink flowers and I love them all.
